While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Nicholas Umosella. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.

Technical Assignment 1

Technical Assignment 1 is an in depth analysis on West Village Commons. It will provide information on the project schedule, building systems, the project cost, the existing site conditions, local area conditions, the project delivery system, and the construction staffing plan. It can be used as a source for all basic information regarding West Village Commons.

Technical Assignment 2

Technical Assignment #2 dives into deeper construction aspects of West Village Commons. It allowed an in-depth study on the construction schedule, site plans for different phases, a detailed structural estimate, a general conditions estimate, and a discussion on the PACE roundtable event held on October 15th 2009. Information found and created during this assignment will serve as a basis of comparison for future research this year.

Technical Assignment 3

Technical Assignment #3 explores topics with potential for research in the spring semester. This report has information on constructability challenges, schedule acceleration scenarios, value engineering topics, problem identification, and technical analysis methods. This report will streamline into my thesis proposal
